Lavender Oil Aug 20, 2008 I love essential oils and think they are really great and so is this one except for the smell of this one it is not the same smell that i would typically associate with lavender and is more flowery...? not that same relaxing smell i was looking for so i'm not sure if it is just a different kind of lavender than what I am use to and if so i wish they would have also included the exact type it was for example english lavender.

Doesn't smell as good as the plant, Jul 21, 2008 but what oil does. Sometimes I think lavender is my can't-do-without essential oil. I use it for: earaches, burns--including sunburn, dandruff on the cat, migraines, insomnia. Don't put it directly on your skin; mix it with an unscented oil or lotion.

Peppermint? Jun 29, 2008 I'm not sure if I got a crazy fluke, but my lavender oil labeled incorrectly. What I really received is peppermint. Truth be told, I don't mind and I am going to keep it, but if you are looking for lavender, you may or may not get it if you order this product.
