 Bizarre smell Jul 16, 2010
I bought 2 of these bra's at a dpt. store. I loved the fit and the material. However, both of them smelled strange - not the fabric but the underwires. They smelled like burning plastic or burning hair - even right after washing. Other people noticed it - a co-worker even asked if I had burned something in my office. I was concerned over what was off-gassing from the underwire material on my 'Made in China' bra and thru them both away.

I had not been able to find a good sports bra since the discontinuance of Champion double-dry I had been wearing. I came upon Lily of France Women's Sport in Actin Bra on Amazon.com. Great support and shaping with full range of motion. The material keeps me dry. Thanks!

I have narrow shoulders and 36DD bust. I found a most similar bra at Sears years ago and wore it everyday. They discontinued it and I was very dissapointed and in a lot of pain for the past few years trying to find something that was comfortable for my petite frame. I have been fitted numerous times but nothing seemed to work. I was thrilled to find this style again and will be stocking up. My friend has severe RA and has been unable to find a bra that works with her condition. I made her day yesterday when I called to share the good news. This one is a hit. No pressure on the shoulders at all.

Unusual, but not better Jan 22, 2010
I wanted to find a bra that would not give me a uniboob. I am a 38D and need a bra that gives good support and this design looked like it would keep my breasts apart enough to prevent the uniboob. What I found was that the bra did not truly separate my breasts, I think mainly because the underwire is on the outside AND lifts off the bra itself. I didn't expect to be able to slide my fingers under the underwire between the underwire and the actual bra itself. If it were sewn into the bra instead of laying on top it might actually prevent the uniboob better. I'm also used to using sports bras that prevent my nipples from showing and this one does nothing for that. Not only do they pop through and the white is too sheer to completely cover them. The last thing I need is to have to wear nipple covers with a sports bra. To make it even worse, the bra didn't provide as much lift as my Champion bras that I already have. I'm sending this bra back.

I ordered the Lily of France Sports Bra in white, size 36DD. I love it! It fits really well, lifts, and separates (no uniboob). The cups are made of material sort of like tshirt material and it is very comfortable. Very tight, but that's what I need and good side support. I feel very perky! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the cups are thin, not "discrete". Nipples show sometimes;)
