strikes a unique note Nov 19, 2008
The bottle is fabulous, let's start there. The plastic is not at all the cheap stuff, but high-grade, painted platic on a glass base. Completely unique. Very Ed Hardy.

The perfume was surprising at first, having seen the edgy bottle, then remarkably fitting. It's young, fresh, hip, edgy, sexy -- everything that's Ed Hardy. I wouldn't fall into the tattoo-chic culture by any stretch, but this works... on most women. It's a very balanced perfume: fresh but strong, sexy but sweet 'n innocent, fruity mostly, but enough floral and earthy tones to balance it out.

I'm a huge perfume fan and own about 25 bottles at any given time. This is unique.

I bought the gift set (often sold out, so keep a look out) that includes a 3.4 oz. Eau de Parfum, shimmer lotion, purse spray and fabulous Ed Hardy keychain FOR THE SAME PRICE AS JUST THE PERFUME. Now it sounds silly, but even the box all this comes in is gorgeous, a 40's era woman in glossy cardboard. I've already saved the box to use to store receipts -- very glam chic in my drawer.

Anyway, back to the perfume.... if you're buying a holiday gift for a teenager, hipster, or want to buy something unexpected for your grandmother, try this.

great scent May 05, 2008
This fragrance just recently became available in Delaware. When it was advertised thru stores such as Macy's, Boscovs, etc. you could not find it. However, I decided to go online & search for the fragrance & found it as Amazon.com & it was the exact same price as it was in department stores (if they had it). Thanks for "hooking me up".

Amazing & Irresistible scent Apr 03, 2008
I realize that scent is entirely objective and that no two noses will percieve the same essence. So please take my opinion at your own risk.

That said, I LOVE this perfume!!!

Most perfumes are so powerful I get stabbing headaches, I have always had a really hard time finding a perfume that won't kill me or give me a rash and even then I have a hard time finding a scent that I can stand. So far I have found 3 perfumes that fill the bill: "Juicey Couture", "Alabaster" by Banana Republic and this, "Love Kills Slowly" by Ed Hardy. The last being my absoulte favorite.

It is truly magic in a bottle and while there are a lot of fruity/floral scents out there, this one hits and interesting balance unlike the others. My favorite part is after it's application it changes from fruity/floral to a kind of spicy/warmth. It is an energetic, yet soothing aroma. I like to reapply it when I go to bed at night.

I can understand why this scent sells out so quickly, it reminds me of Tom Robbins "Jitterbug Perfume" in which he describes a scent so singular, unique and intense it has a dramatic effect on the lives of anyone who smells it. This is almost that good! I intend to hoard as much of this as I can!
